Australian college of business and technology.. with the name of it promises a bright future for any student who is looking forward to achieve a private degree or who would want to go abroad for their higher studies.
Fortunate or unfortunate here is the bitter truth about so called ACBT. The biggest scam of private institution.
The door is guarded with a security who has to spent entire day by opening and closing it for each and every children that goes in and out. BTW it was a crap house before the recent renovation thanks to parents of rich kids.
First you go to meet uneducated horny counselors just bunch of blundering idiots. Sorry to criticize but considering the majority out of them, that's the truth. Then they just say yes to everything like there is no other institute who can do what they can. Poor students now in the journey of ACBT scam .
Let me list down what they say and what is actual - \
01.They say that classes are flexible and you can do weekend classes,
*Bullshit .. all the second year and third year classes are at night and you are fucked if you are a working student.
*If one subject is there in one semester it is not there in the other semester, So you are wasting 3 months doing nothing some times.
02.SO much flexible
*The first question of Mr.Sunimal(Vice Principal) .. have you paid your course fee. If you are from a rich parents and you really don't care the money then you can do whatever you can in the campus as long as you pay what they say.
03.Flexible payments and cheap prices
*Fucking 10000 penalty if you fail to do the payments on time.
*For diploma one subject 56000/- and final year it is freaking 86000/-
*totally it is 24 subjects... do the math
*If you fail you have to pay the whole amount again.
*If you are not able to attend to exams and no medical given still you have to pay the full amount.
04.Flexible lectures
* If you are not able to attend to class exams then differed exams will be given and if you do not submit the medical within a week you will not get any mark at all. So simply you will fail and then another bunch of money you have to spend for the same subject.
*Some Lectures are crazy.. very bias. Not to mention bodu bala sena activist Dilantha also lecturing there .. so imaging
Update - some lectures have actually done a great job. They have put their experience to guide students to their journey,,, but people need money otherwise they will never ever lecture at ACBT.
05.Facility
*No toilet paper and hand wash in toilets.
*Broken A/C
*When the lecture is over students can't stay they have to leave the room.
*good or bad cameras in class rooms
*They have very limited time for students administration tasks. so if you need some thing done .. you have to wait for a long time.
Update - So smart but still charges extra if you pay buy a credit or debit card.
06.You can quickly finish the degree
*You have 8 subjects in each year.
*Mostly you can only take up 2 per semester because doing 3 subjects bit hard. A semester is 3 months so you can do the math.. how long it will take to finish the degree.
07.Dual degree
Bullshit they started with giving dual major degree but then it was another scam. Mr.Sunimal simply said that it is a mistake they have done and students were asked to not to complain to Edith Crown University because if they get to know they will cancel the licence so all the student will not be able to do any thing,
Now every thing has taken to online and one semester has become 6 months so the students are super fucked. Never ever go to ACBT.
so likewise so many things are there. Let me honestly tell you some thing, It is just a rumor that ACBT degree is well recognized and bla bla bla.... Mostly the case that rich parents kids comes to study in ACBT so without their actual knowledge they will obliviously be directors of those companies. Otherwise it is just a paper qualification which you can get from any other cheap price university.
I can list down many more things. ACBT is already falling and just surviving from the rich kids parents. They just spend huge amount of course fees without knowing what actually their kids are doing. ACBT time is over .. STOP this scam and do't play with students future...
